Downtown Toronto POSITION:
To support and drive deals with diverse Canadian clients
for their securities, mergers, divestments and acquisition
activities in the U.S. from public and private companies to
leading edge emerging organizations and as well to enhance
business prospects by assisting in the development of a
broader Canadian client base. Reliable support is available.
TERM:
Permanent position.
CANDIDATE: An experienced Canadian securities lawyer
with a New York call and significant background with a U.S.
firm advising Canadian companies on cross border issues
particularly relating to U.S. capital markets as well as M &
A cross border transactions. A partial book of business
and/or an affinity or demonstrated business development
experience are an asset as well as contacts or relationships
with Canadian law firms in need of U.S. legal support.
ORGANIZATION: A U.S. law firm with an excellent
reputation and a broad client base with offices in major
U.S. locations is seeking an additional experienced
securities/capital markets lawyer for its Toronto office.
