Trevor Branion is the Manager of Candidate Development at Advocate Placement. Called to the Bar in 2000, Trevor has practice experience in Administrative Law, Professional Responsibility, Civil Litigation and Family Law and brings with him a unique appreciation of the legal profession in Ontario. He completed his Articles of Clerkship and first year of practice at the Law Society of Upper Canada, where he developed a solid understanding of professional ethics and witnessed first-hand the pitfalls associated with legal practice.

For three years, Trevor was a provincial offences prosecutor and legal counsel to the Travel Industry Council of Ontario, where he successfully prosecuted some high-profile provincial offences cases and helped raise industry and consumer awareness to promote a fair and informed marketplace. Following a stint in private practice, Trevor, himself, recognized the need for a career change. He returned to the GTA to apply his legal knowledge and psychology background to Advocate’s Candidate Advocacy Division. Trevor understands candidate needs and realizes the necessity of a good fit from both the candidate ’s and client’s perspective.

Trevor is a doting dad to his daughter, Emma and has been happily married for over ten years to his lovely wife, Jeannine. In his spare time, Trevor enjoys Karate, foosball, movies and music. Although quickly approaching middle-age, Trevor can still be seen singing at stop lights with the radio blasting.
