POSITION TITLE:
Legal Counsel, Litigation

This law dept is known for its collegiality, headed by a
leader who provides strong personal and professional support.
POSITION:
General commercial and civil litigation. Handle (a)
insurance defence type work, which includes property damage
and personal injury litigation, and (b) commercial
litigation, which includes most real estate litigation and
procurement litigation (commercial contract litigation).
Take independent carriage of smaller files; and enjoy
support of senior litigators when needed.
TERM:
Permanent position.
CANDIDATE:
You have broad litigation background, with solid experience
with pleadings, motions, and discoveries. Insurance defence
and commercial litigation background is needed. Some
employment law, an asset. Good interpersonal skills are
vital. Small firm and/or in-house experience are welcome.
