POSITION:
Corporate-commercial partner for established small full-service firm. 

TERM:
Permanent position.

CANDIDATE:

• You are with a big or mid-sized firm and wish to join a smaller firm where you can become more involved in managing the firm, or
• You are either a solo or in a micro firm and you require greater infra-structure such as up-to-date technology or deeper clerical or associate support, or
• You are leaving too much on the table where you are, and you seek greater overhead controls or cross-referrals.
  

You have built up your practice to a point where your clients look to you as a kind of generalist to assist them in diverse areas of business and personal matters such as buying and selling businesses, leases, employment matters or corporate reorganizations as well as wills, trusts, estates or estates planning. You either complete the legal work or else refer it on and keep a watchful eye.

ORGANIZATION:
This 10-person firm has a busy general practice and a good stable of entrepreneurial clients. The firm is somewhat tipped in favour of litigation and it seeks to add more depth on the commercial side. In addition, the partners, though not yet ready to retire, are looking down the road and planning for the future, which includes bringing in new partners and associates with practices or part-practices.
