Toronto POSITION:
Junior-to-Mid level Intellectual Property / Information
Technology associate.
TERM:
Permanent position CANDIDATE:
You have 1 to 5 years of experience
advising clients on intellectual property matters, including
some or all of the following: preparing and prosecuting
trade-mark applications, conducting patent searches, advising
on the prospect of obtaining patents and the possible infringement
of patents, and advising on the Canadian Copyright Act
and international copyright convention. You also have experience
in information technology law, including some or all of
the following: drafting licences, contracts, technology
transfer agreements and other technology agreements, advising
on the technology aspects of commercial transactions, and
advising on legal matters related to the internet and e-business
matters. You have a solid academic record and relevant
experience gained at a leading firm or organization. ORGANIZATION:
A major firm with a leading Information Technology/Intellectual Property
Group that provides specialized advice and planning services with respect
to commercial IP/IT agreements, such as licensing, sponsorship and
merchandising arrangements, and copyright and trade-mark protection. CAREER
